Materials: Pipe cleaners, fabric, paint, glue
My mask represents my experience with the COVID 19 pandemic. I painted the border of my mask blue because blue is my favourite colour. Painting is also one of the things that got me through quarantine, so I painted an extra layer of white paint over the white fabric that I glued on, just for fun. The spiralling pipe cleaners represent my ups and downs throughout 2020 and they are the colour pink which is my second favourite colour. My mask didn’t exactly turn out how I planned but I think that it still turned out pretty cool.
