We’re All In This Together

Submitted by: Angie Woollard

Materials: Ink on paper

This 34×34” piece depicts the Earth with huge spiral art designs. Its title has two meanings: We are all on this Earth together and together we can accomplish great things; and we are all going through this pandemic together, facing and overcoming similar challenges.

Thank you Prime Minister

Submitted by: Misslacsinclair

Materials: iPhone, IKEA napkin holder, gifted granite countertop

Early days of the pandemic and our daily dose of Justin Trudeau’s calm courage helped me. A few times, including the Saturday before Mother’s Day, his heartfelt words brought tears to my eyes because of the love and kindness shown for all Mothers.

#superisolator

Submitted by: Super Isolator

Materials: Carbon, fiberglass, engine metal, silver cape

I ride my non-binary Scottish unicorn Aon-adharcach (2014 Honda CTX 700) alone. We wear our unicorn decals with pride, and I’m doing a series of photos and videos showing Super Isolator in the wild… howling for health care workers, grocery shopping, or reading bedtime stories about road trips to Aon-adharcach in the driveway. Mask – check. Gloves -check. Cape – Check!

Local Nature

Submitted by: Anonymous

Materials: Mountain

While doing an online workshop, I had to partner with the mountain outside my windows as no humans were available. It was very stirring, emotive. Self isolation is a life style for those that live in what many globally deem unused wilderness.
