Early days of the pandemic and our daily dose of Justin Trudeau’s calm courage helped me. A few times, including the Saturday before Mother’s Day, his heartfelt words brought tears to my eyes because of the love and kindness shown for all Mothers.

Materials: Laptop
My laptop has helped me get through this quarantine for many reasons. The biggest reason is online education. I am very grateful to have a nice computer because many kids do not have access to one at all to do their school work. It is the main resource everyone has been using to do their school work. It has become a big part of my life as well the past month. It has kept me very busy including face-timing my friends and keeping in touch with them over text as well.

Materials: Alexa
My Alexa is definitely going to be something I remember after this pandemic is over. This is because it has given me daily alerts about current news on the coronavirus. Everyday, it gives me an update on the pandemic. Before the pandemic was present, my Alexa would alert me on the best restaurants to go to in New Jersey, or if the weather was good for a beach day. Nowadays, it’s like restaurants have never even existed, and beaches are completely empty. With alerts like, how social distancing needs to last for another month, or how to prevent coronavirus, it is a constant reminder of the completely different lifestyle we live in right now.
